Crystal Swing members Mary Murray-Burke and her kids Dervla and Derek make up the most unlikely pop group. Hailing from a small town in Cork, the act have shot to fame in the past year after their performance of ‘He Drinks Tequila’ was noticed by American chat show host Ellen DeGeneres.
Following their appearance at this year’s Electric Picnic, Crystal Swing will play at Monroe’s Live on Thursday 16 September. The show promises to be a fast paced knees-up with infamous songs like ‘He Drinks Tequila’ and other feel-good, infectious melodies.
Tickets are €12, and can be purchased from Monroe’s or The Galleon Restaurant in Salthill. Tickets can also be bought on the night for €15, but are limited in supply and in high demand already, so purchasing in advance is recommended.
