After the massive success of the first installment, the DubCulture Thursday night summer sessions continue on Thursday 16 July at An Pucán/The Junction on Forster Street. With their Galway dubstep clubnight recognised around the country as the best place for the freshest cutting edge sounds, DubCulture sessions guarantee a great night out.

This week's party is fuelled by the mighty Rootical Sound System and you can feel those deep dark dubstep tunes from 10pm til late. Admission €5. 

The Gigantic posse (pictured) make their comeback in Galway's all new late night venue, Kelly's (formerly The Living Room) on Bridge Street this Saturday 18 July. With the Bar and Lounge opening on Friday 17 July, Olive, Tom & Mac have the honour of christening the new upstairs live/club venue the following night.

GPO hosts the final of their summer DJ Competition this Thursday 16t July. The five finalists include DJ Jonathan Doyle, DJ Rais D, DJ Gary Collins, DJ Dave Kelly, DJ Adrian Burke and DJ Tatumba.

The night kicks off at 9.30pm with each DJ given a limited time slot to impress the crowd and judges. So far the competition has been very successful with people flocking to the GPO bar on Thursday nights to hear the talented local DJs battle it out to go through to the final.
