Comedy Comedy, the monthly night of skits, sketches and silliness returns to the Roisin Dubh next Saturday, 26 June.

Hosted by John Donnellan and Danny Dowling, this club features one guest every week live on stage as well as a myriad of others, performing live on the big screen from around the world via the magic of Skype. It's a night focussed on new material.

Dutch singer/songwriter Christof will launch his new EP ‘Springtime' Upstairs at Kelly's on Thursday 17 June. Since he started out busking on Shop Street three years ago, Christof's presence has been felt by everyone in the music scene around the city.

His voice, abundant with strength and sensitivity, has projected his charming songs into the hearts of all who have heard him. Just back from a 25-date tour of Germany and the UK, his charisma on stage and captivating show engaged every audience he played to.

Food lovers in the West of Ireland will be spoiled for choice and value during the upcoming Around Ireland Offshore Powerboat Festival. Over 40 of the West's top restaurants are taking part in 'Dine In The West- Restaurant Week', which runs throughout the powerboat festival from Monday 7 to Sunday 13 June.

Devised by the Restaurants' Association of Ireland, 'Dine In The West- Restaurant Week' will see some of Galway's and Mayo's top restaurants offering a very special promotional three course menu for €25 per person showcasing the great tastes of the West.
