E-mail Print PDF

Galway's newest and hottest night out is Thursday, thanks to the high heels, hot music and serious Shakira-style moves happening at The Stiletto Disco. This celebration of all things fun, fabulous and female happens every Thursday upstairs at The Dáil Bar on Middle Street and is fast becoming a midweek must for those who like fantastic Martinis, music and a good dance around their handbag!

At the helm creating the buzzing atmosphere is the fabulous and funky Lisa Brady from i102-104. The music is playful and fun and begs to be danced to! Because of this, The Stiletto Disco makes the perfect venue for your girls' night out, work party or Stiletto Birthday Party! Just call Jayne on 087-9214357 to chat about the amazing offers on at the moment, including complimentary cosmos and cupcakes for your party!

Damian Clark and Addy Van Der Borgh will headline the Laughter Lounge's fifth anniversary show in the Roisin Dubh next week. Damo Clark is probably best known as the funny one from RTÉ TV show I Dare Ya!

'There is barely a bad word to say about Clark: distinctive and possessing a comic talent beyond his years, both biological and mental', according to chortle.co.uk.

Addy Van Der Borgh has that rare talent of making people laugh as soon as he walks on stage. He is a performer of high acclaim and original material. His ability was noticed immediately by the BBC when he appeared on the 'Stand-up Show' (BBC1) after only one year as a comedian. He subsequently appeared on 'Live at Jongleurs' and 'The World Stands Up' for Sky TV. He has also written and co-presented twenty episodes of 'TV Meltdown' for Sky 1 with Kirsty Gallagher.
