Next Wednesday, the 10th of March we would like to invite all residents of Galway and the surrounding areas to join us at our first Polish Culture Nihgt in Galway!
Galway Irish-Polish Association has once again prepared great entertainment for you! The first of the cycle of cultural and business meetings will be held on 10th of March at 20.00 in Bar No. 8 on Dock Road.
The main topic of the meeting will be music of Frederic Chopin, to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great pianist, as well as participation in the celebration of the Chopin Year around the globe. In addition, guests will have the ability to watch and purchase work of two painters: Maria Zamojska and Gabriela Olejniczak. Their paintings will be presented during the evening.
In addition, we invited Polish businessmen operating in Galway and areas to join us. This will be a unique opportunity for people living in Galway to become familiar with local business.
At the same time collection of donations will be held to aid the families of the victims of Katyn massacre. By these donations Galway Irish-Polish association is taking part in one of the major projects organized by Poland Street Association, London.

2. 20.30 - Welcome - Presentation of GIPA, the schedule of the meeting and Polish companies - 10 min
3. 20.40 - Presentation of Polish dishes - snack free of charge for guests
4. 21.10 - Presentation of the life and works of Chopin - 10 min
5. 21.25 - Possibility of the order and the consumption of Polish main dishes - menu - dishes prepared by expert Polish cook
6. 22.00 - Presentation - Katyn - on History and the Present - 10 min
